PREGNANT WOMEN'S INTEREST IN PARTICIPATING IN PREGNANCY EXERCISES AT MITRA PARAMEDIKA SLEMAN

Background: Gymnastics pregnancy is one step that can prevent the occurrence of maternal death and infant mortality at the time of delivery. Pregnancy gymnastics is a motion exercise therapy given to pregnant women to prepare themselves, both physical and mental preparation to face and prepare for a fast, safe and spontaneous labor. From the result of preliminary study at Mitra Paramedika Hospital, got data that 5 (16,13%) mother never do gymnastics pregnant, while 2 (6,45%) pregnant women ever do gymnastic pregnant only just once. When asked about the desire to do pregnancy exercises again, the answer from the 7 thousand pregnant is known 4 (12,90%) mother no intention at all pregnancy gymnast while 3 (9,68%) mother answer still think.
Objective: To know the description of interest of pregnant mother in following pregnancy gym at Mitra Paramedika Hospital 2025.
Methods: Descriptive research method. The total population in this study was 32 mothers. The sample method is the total sampling. The analysis uses descriptive frequencies.
Results: Most of the respondents are still in healthy reproduction category (20 years - 35 years), which is 75.1%, with the last education up to middle level as much as 46.9%, with job status of housewife (not working) as much as 56, 3%, are mothers with interest of pregnant women in following low grade ham exercises (37,5%).
Conclusion: Most respondents are still in healthy reproduction category (20 years - 35 years), that is 75.1%, with the last education to middle level as much as 46.9%, with job status of housewife (not working) as much as 56, 3%, are mothers with interest of pregnant women in following low grade ham exercises (37,5%).
