E WITH TFU DISCREPANCY AT NIAR PRATAMA CLINIC, KEC. MEDAN AMPLAS YEAR 2024 https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/165
Background: Measurement of fundus uteri height can be done at 24 weeks of gestation which aims to
determine the gestational age and growth of the fetus in the womb. Fundus height that is not in accordance
with gestational age is related to the nutritional intake of pregnant women so that it affects the level of infant
health, the incidence of low birth weight babies (LBW), and infant mortality. Methods: The research design
used in this study was descriptive research conducted by means of a case study approach with midwifery
documentation of 7 helen varney steps and developmental notes in the form of SOAP. The population in
this study were all pregnant women at the Pratama Niar Clinic, totalling 329 people. The number of samples
taken was 1 respondent with collection techniques, namely primary data and secondary data. Data analysis
by making conclusions from the research conducted by comparing the results of the care provided with the
existing theory. Results: Based on the results of care carried out from pregnancy, childbirth,
postpartum period, newborn, and family planning, it was found that during pregnancy at 32
weeks, the mother's fundus height was 25 cm and according to Mc Donald, the fundus height at
30-32 weeks of pregnancy reached 29.5-30 cm, it can be concluded that there is a gap between
theory and practice, but during childbirth, postpartum, newborn, and family planning, it was
found that there was no gap between practice and theory. Conclusion From the results of the care
provided by the author during the third trimester of pregnancy to family planning, it was found
that the cause of the discrepancy in fundus height was due to unhealthy lifestyle patterns and
nutritional intake. So it is hoped that by carrying out comprehensive midwifery care starting
from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborns and family planning can follow students in
providing care to clients to improve the quality of better education so as to create more
professional and competitive health workers.
yusnita, Ribur Sinaga, Nur Azizah, Kamelia Sinaga, Rumondang Copyright (c) 2024 Mitra Husada Health Internasional Conference (MIHHICo) https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/165 Wed, 31 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 continuty of care for NY. This can also be seen from the high TFR of Samosir Regency (4.5) as the place where the Batak Toba community lives. This raises the question, what causes the high TFR in the Batak Toba community? So it is necessary to research to explore fertility in the Batak Toba community and its impact on children's health. This research was conducted as qualitative research with a topic-oriented ethnographic approach. Research begins in March 2022 until April 2024. Information is explored through in-depth interviews and moderate and sometimes passive participant observation. The research informants consisted of mothers who were over 49 years old and had more than 5 children, mothers of Childbearing Age Couples who were of productive age (15 to 49 years) and had 2 children. The determination of informants was determined using purposive techniques and snowball techniques. Research data analysis was carried out interactively. Gender inequality, understanding of religious teachings, large family size, and understanding the value of success in life are four important things related to fertility in the Batak Toba community. High TFR also has an impact on low nutritional requirements for children, which in turn affects the child's health status. The trend of decreasing or shifting beliefs in cultural values raises hopes that there will be a decline in fertility in the Batak Toba community. Education is an important aspect that can be used as a way to accelerate the decline in the strength of belief in cultural aspects which will then have an impact on decreasing fertility in the Batak Toba community.
Jasmen Manurung, Heru Sentosa, Asfriyati, Nurman Achmad Copyright (c) 2024 Mitra Husada Health Internasional Conference (MIHHICo) https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/225 Thu, 22 Aug 2024 00:00:00 +0000 THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE AND MATERNAL FAILURE TO PROVIDE EXCLUSIVE BREASTFEEDING IN THE WORKING AREA OF THE PUJUD HEALTH CENTER, PUJUD SUB-DISTRICT, ROKAN HILIR DISTRICT, RIAU PROVINCE YEAR 2023 https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/227
Breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to ensure child health and survival. However, nearly 2 in 3 infants are not exclusively breastfed for the recommended 6 months - a rate that has not improved in 2 decades. The proportion of breastfeeding start times in infants aged 0-5 months was less than 1 hour by 14.98%, 1-6 hours by 30.48%, 7-23 hours by 9.15%, 24-47 hours by 10.59%, >48 hours by 34.79%. This proportion is different between female and male babies, judging from the proportion number, female babies breastfeed more often than male babies. Failure of exclusive breastfeeding can lead to a high frequency of disease incidence. The frequency of disease incidence in the non-exclusive breastfeeding group was 40%, this figure was greater than the exclusive breastfeeding group, which was 23.3%. World cases, such as in the US, show that 57.6% of mothers breastfeed until 6 months of age but only 25% exclusively breastfeed. Social security includes all social welfare efforts aimed at improving the quality of human life and overcoming backwardness, dependency, neglect and poverty. One form of social health security in Indonesia is the social security violation agency or commonly known as BPJS. In the implementation of the use of BPJS Health, claims will be made, which will be carried out after the patient has completed treatment, in the process of submitting claims from the Hospital to BPJS Health with several stages of verifying the completeness of files both in terms of membership administration, service administration and health service verification. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence pending claims for inpatient care at home. Pending claims that occur are caused by several factors, namely, inappropriate or incomplete filling in of items in the patient's medical record, such as a mismatch between the diagnosis and the medical resume, then the therapy given does not match the existing diagnosis that has been made by the patient. doctor in charge of the patient (DPJP). This research is descriptive qualitative in nature, which was carried out at the hospital from April 2024 to May 2024. Data collection was carried out by interviewing several related informants and from secondary data in the form of recapitulation data of pending inpatient treatment. Based on the results obtained from secondary data in the form of recapitulation data for pending inpatient care and the results of interviews with several informants in the casemix unit, it was found that there were factors causing claims for pending inpatient care at the hospital, one of which was incomplete patient administration files. This is also supported by data from interviews conducted with 5 informants in the casemix unit, 1 inpatient cashier, and 2 nurses, as well as observations made which showed that there were still several patient administration files that were incomplete, where assembling was always coordinate with the relevant service unit and search for and complete incomplete files in the medical record.

Keywords: pending claims, BPJS claims, BPJS inpatient care
Windy Suganda, Anastasya Shinta Yuliana, Anastasya Shinta Yuliana Copyright (c) 2024 Mitra Husada Health Internasional Conference (MIHHICo) https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/246 Tue, 30 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 THE RELATIONSHIP OF HEALTH OFFICERS' WORK MOTIVATION TO THE COMPLETENESS OF FILLING IN ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS AT KIJANG HEALTH CENTER https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/248
Incompleteness and inaccuracy in filling out medical records has a negative impact on the health service process for patients, because the time from the registration process until medical action is carried out takes a long time. Pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum can suffer from a deficiency in fat and carbohydrate reserves, which are essential for the body's energy needs. Due to incomplete fat oxidation, ketosis occurs, leading to the formation of acetoacetic acid. Dehydration happens as a result of fluid deficiency and excessive vomiting. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between gravidity and nutritional status in pregnant women during the first trimester with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum at Pratama Niar Clinic, Medan City, in 2019. This research used an analytical survey with a cross-sectional design. The population of this study consisted of pregnant women who visited the ANC at Pratama Niar Clinic in June-July 2019. The sample included 46 respondents, selected using a probability sampling technique. The inclusion criteria were pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum and a gestational age of less than 20 weeks. Data analysis used the chi-square test, and the study found a significant relationship between gravidity with a p-value of 0.002 and poor nutritional status with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum with a p-value of 0.001. So all moral and material support is provided by the husband, family and even all members of society, for the welfare of the mother and fetus. The presence of a companion during childbirth can have a positive effect on childbirth, namely reducing morbidity, reducing pain, shortening labor, and reducing the number of deliveries by surgery, including caesarean section. Based on an initial survey conducted by researchers at the Peureulak Health Center, East Aceh, data on the number of primigravida mothers giving birth from January to April 2023 was 30 people. Among the 30 primigravida patients, interviews were conducted with 18 patients, of which 11 primigravida mothers were not accompanied by their husbands when they were about to give birth. The type of research used in this research is observational analytical research with a cross sectional approach. The location of this research was the Peureulak Health Center, East Aceh. The reason for choosing the Peureulak Health Center in East Aceh as the research site was because the number of primiparous women giving birth at the clinic was quite large. This research starts from the preparation of the thesis to the research plan from April to June 2023. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. This data was collected by distributing questionnaires. The majority of husbands' assistance during the birth process of primigravida mothers in the first stage was good. The anxiety level of mothers in the first stage of labor is mostly mild anxiety. Therefore during pregnancy, it is very important for the mother to fulfill nutritional intake. The main factor that causes Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women is a lack of calories and protein for a long time (chronic), while the main cause of anemia is low intake of iron contained in food. The research design used is observational analytics with a cross sectional approach where the research location is in the working area of Labuhan Deli Public Health Center. The population in this study was 110 pregnant women recorded in the working area of Labuhan Deli Public Health Center, while the sample was 72 pregnant women whose gestational age was in the 2nd trimester, where the sampling technique was purposive sampling. After the data was collected, data analysis was carried out using the chi-square test. The results of data analysis of pregnant women in the working area of Labuhan Deli Public Health Center showed a significant relationship between regular consumption of iron tablets and the incidence of CED (p value = 0.003) and anemia (p value = 0.002). Pregnant women must regularly consume a balanced diet and iron tablets given by health workers since the second trimester.
Agnes Purba, Linca Vinci Hulu Copyright (c) 2024 Mitra Husada Health Internasional Conference (MIHHICo) https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/292 Tue, 30 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALT FACTORS AND THE INCIDIENCE OF DIARRHEA IN TODDLERS IN WORKING AREA OF THE UPTD PUSKESMAS GUNUNGSITOLI IDANOI https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/294
The environmental conditions in the homes of toddlers suffering from diarrhea show that most of the clean water facilities do not meet health requirements, for example they are not protected from sources of pollution. Likewise, most of the latrine facilities do not have waterproof floors, are slippery, and flow directly into the river. Waste management is still far from health requirements and most rubbish bins do not have covers, there is no separation of organic and inorganic waste. Household waste water drainage channels are still close to the house, which creates a breeding ground for vectors that can carry disease. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between clean water facilities, latrine facilities, waste management, waste water drainage management and the incidence of diarrhea in the work area of the UPTD Puskesmas Gunungsitoli Idanoi District. The type of research is quantitative and cross sectional research, researchers analyzed data from 4,485 families, obtained through questionnaire and observation methods, data were analyzed using the chi- square test with a confidence level of 95%. Results through statistical tests showed that all variables were related to the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in the UPTD work area of the Gunungsitoli Idanoi District Health Center. All variables studied are related to the incidence of diarrhea, so various efforts need to be madethe role of the community and health workers in improving the quality of a healthy environmentwhich is related to the incidence of diarrhea in the UPTD work area of the Gunungsitoli Idanoi District Health Center.
Debora Mendrofa, Rahmat Alyakin Dachi, Asima Sirait Copyright (c) 2024 Mitra Husada Health Internasional Conference (MIHHICo) https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/294 Tue, 30 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECTIVENESS OF RED BETEL LEAVES ON HEALING PERINEAL WOUNDS AT THE KENANGAN HEALTH CENTER DELISERDANG REGENCY YEAR 2022 https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/296
The use of betel leaves can accelerate the healing of perimium wounds, there is a significant difference in the healing time of perimetry wounds between the experimental and control groups. Based on these results, it can be said that the use of betel leaves is effective in accelerating the healing of periamium wounds. The effectiveness of red betel leaf in the treatment of perineal wounds can be concluded that the average healing time of perineal wounds using red betel leaf infusion is 3-4 days, while the average healing time using iodine is 5-6 days. This means that the treatment of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers is more effective using red betel infusion than iodine. This type of research is a Quasi experiment (pseudo-experiment) research using a quantitative approach that aims to explain, test the relationship between variables and to find the effectiveness of red betel leaf on the healing of perineal wounds. The research design that the author will use in this study is a Pretest-posttest design using two research groups (One Group Pretest-posttest Design). The development is by means of one measurement in front (pretest) before the treatment and after that another measurement is carried out (post-test). The initial measurement provides a pre-test using the observation method to see directly how wide the birth canal wound is. It is known that of the 19 respondents, the majority of respondents are in the age group of 19 years - 30 years, namely as many as 17 respondents (89.5%) and 2 respondents (10.5%) in the age group of 31 years - 45 years.
Mastari Simanjuntak, Debora Sophia Laoren Sitompul, Rumondang Sitorus, Asnita Sinaga, Esra Agustina Gultom Copyright (c) 2024 Mitra Husada Health Internasional Conference (MIHHICo) https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/296 Tue, 30 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 CONTINUOUS MIDWIFERY CARE CONTINUITY OF CARE NY.N WITH BREAST MILK DAM AT PRATAMA TUTUN SEHATI CLINIC TANJUNG MORAWA DISTRICT DELI SERDANG REGENCY IN 2024 https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/298
A Preliminary Survey was conducted at the Tutun Sehati Primary Clinic which is located in Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency and has conducted communication interpersonal with the Clinic Leader to conduct research on Tutun Clinic patients. The term "osteoporosis" itself comes from Greek, where "osteo" means bone and "porous" means holes or porous. The prevalence of osteoporosis has increased significantly worldwide, with projected incidence rates increasing in the future. WHO predictions show that the number of osteoporosis sufferers is expected to reach 6.3 million people by 2035, highlighting the urgency of treating and preventing this condition. The prevalence figure reaching 19.7% of the entire population or around 3.6 million people shows the large impact of osteoporosis in Indonesia. Data shows that the prevalence of osteoporosis is higher in women compared to men in Indonesia, especially in the elderly group. This is consistent with the general pattern of osteoporosis where women are more susceptible to this condition, especially after menopause due to decreased levels of the hormone estrogen. (Suarni, 2019). There was because of the LBW babies are commonly facing a further harmful impact in the future. LBW children are higher risk to die within the first five years than the normal birth weight. When LBW children survive within the first five years, they will face a various constraints during their life compared to normal birth weight (WHO SEARO 2009). The main objective of the research was to identify the risk factors of LBW in Timor-Leste. This research was conducted in the Baucau Referral Hospital which is located in the eastern part of Timor-Leste. The hospital was assigned for referral patients from 16 Community Health Centers (CHCs) from three district health service area. The type of the research was cohort retrospective study where 109 LBW babies and 158 normal birth weight (NBW) babies were assigned as subjects of the research during January – June 2010. The mothers from both LBW and NBW were interviewed to trace their record on related risk factors of LBW. To identify association between risk factors and LBW we used odds ratio approach with 95% confidence interval. There were some factors identified through X2 test which have an association with LBW. The factors mentioned were height of mother which lower than 145 cm (p-value: 0.008, OR: 2.05), mother worked during pregnancy (p-value: 0.034, OR: 5.35), mother which suffered from fever during pregnancy, (p-value: 0.000, OR: 25.7), inadequate ANC visited to the health facility (p-value: 0.000, OR: 4.02), smoking habits of mothers (p-value: 0.034, OR: 5.35), husband smoker (p-value: 0.000, OR: 56.3), upper arm boundary less than 23.5 cm (p-value: 0.000, OR: 8.54), mother living in the rural area (p-value: 0.000, OR: 7.39), interval pregnancy less than two years (p-value: 0.007, OR: 3.06). Among the risk factors mentioned, only six factors identified as predominant factors of LBW. They were husband smoker, mother which suffered from fever during pregnancy, mother living in the rural area, mother working during pregnancy, upper arm boundary less than 23.5 cm, and interval pregnancy less than two years. Enhancement of accessibility of health services particularly for pregnant women and growing of food and agriculture local production are identified as the main factors which are needed to be considered together with localized free smoking area for those who need, to decrease the LBW babies in Timor-Leste.
Livio Da Conceicao Matos, Hari Kusnanto, Detty Siti Nurdiaty Copyright (c) 2024 Mitra Husada Health Internasional Conference (MIHHICo) https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/303 Tue, 30 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 A Literature Review On Adolescent Mental Health Management https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/313
Adolescent health and well-being during adolescence and adulthood depend on preventing adversity, fostering socioemotional learning and psychological well-being, and guaranteeing access to mental health care. The formative years of adolescence are critical for the development of social and emotional skills necessary for mental health. Adoles Mental health is impacted by several variables. The possible impact on adolescents' mental health increases with the number of risk factors they are exposed to. Adversity, peer pressure, and identity exploration are some of the factors that can lead to stress during adolescence. The aim of this research is to review literature, articles and research documents that identify adolescent mental health management. The method used in this research is a literature review method where researchers critically examine the ideas contained in the literature for a particular topic. In this study, researchers examined adolescent mental health management. The data used in this research comes from reputable online journal articles published on the internet. The journal search used a database with medium and high quality criteria by entering the keywords Mental Health Management, Adolescent Mental Health Disorders, Trends in Adolescent Mental Health Cases. The articles used were 10 articles published in the last ten years (2015-2024). The results of a review of 10 research sample journals used show that several adolescent mental health management interventions, namely Psychosocial intervention, Mental Health Literacy, Expressive-creative intervention, Psychosocial skills-based interventions, with this intervention can improve adolescent mental health, and can also be preventive against adolescent mental health problems. The choice of methods and media can be adjusted to the targets and goals. Each intervention has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the level of effectiveness varies.
Netty Purba netty, Erika Fariningsih, Devi Khiran Novelina Copyright (c) 2024 Mitra Husada Health Internasional Conference (MIHHICo) https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/313 Tue, 30 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 THE RELATIONSHIP OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HIV/AIDS WITH PROMISCUOUS SEX BEHAVIOR IN ADOLESCENTS AL-ULUM MEDAN PRIVATE HIGH SCHOOL https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/319
The progress of the times and the influence of globalization have caused real changes in the joints of human life, especially in the field of health. This mental health issue is one of the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has affected modifications in hospital medical treatment. Purpose : Analyzing midwives' understanding of mental health problems in pregnant and postpartum women during. Method : This research design method is a mixed method (Mixed Method) using an Embedded Design approach. Quantitative data was collected using a Google form questionnaire, while qualitative data was gathered through in-depth interviews. In quantitative analysis, a design description is used, while in qualitative analysis, Nvivo 12 Plus is used. Results : Midwives have good knowledge as many as 13 people (76.5%) and sufficient knowledge as many as 4 people (23.5%). Based on the results of the interview, it said that the understanding of midwives still did not understand how to analyze the psychological status of mothers effectively because of the unavailability of special measuring tools for mental health problems and the lack of training to increase human resources for mental health problems for pregnant and postpartum women. Conclusion : The majority of midwives have good knowledge. Midwives' understanding reveals more about the factors that cause mental disorders from the incidence of pregnancy outside marriage and KTD. MEDAN RELELAN IN 2023/2024 https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/222
According to the 2021 health scientific journal, breast milk dams occur due to several factors, including incorrect breastfeeding techniques, inverted nipples, babies unable to suck on the nipple and areola, mothers who do not breastfeed their babies as often as possible or babies who do not suck actively. Among the several causal factors above, if not treated immediately it will result in mastitis. Correct latching is one of the keys to the success of a baby breastfeeding at the mother's breast. If the breasts are sore, it could be a sign that the baby is not latching well when breastfeeding. Generally, the mother will correct the latching position by releasing the baby's mouth while breastfeeding and attaching it again. The importance of breast care for post partum mothers is one way to increase breast milk production because breast milk is an important intake for the growth and development and health of babies.

According to WHO data in 2018, the percentage of breastfeeding women who experienced breast milk dams reached an average of 87.06% or reached 8242. Efforts that can be made to increase breast milk production by doing massages such as woolwich massage or stimulation given to the mother can cause a sense of relaxation and comfort so that it can increase the hormones Prolactin and Oxytocin and the production of oxytocin by the pituitary which plays a role in squeezing milk out of the alveoli (Arkha, 2018). The 2016 Indonesian Health Data Profile shows that the coverage of breast milk in Indonesia is still low compared to the Indonesian Health Profile data in 2015 with a percentage of 55.7% of infants who exclusively breastfeed 0-6 months to 54% in 2016. Bantul Regent Regulation number 38 of 2021 concerning the Acceleration of Reducing Maternal and Infant Mortality Rates in Bantul Regency, health facilities are obliged to record and report on the maternal and child health information system, as well as the family health website. Utilization of information systems can anticipate delays in handling pregnant and postpartum women. One system evaluation model is assessing the level of digital maturity to identify gaps and determine improvement plans using the Stages of Continuous Improvement (SOCI) framework. Efforts to improve public health are in fact not easy with enormous problems Complex especially in reducing maternal mortality. Baby Massage is an art of health care and treatment that has been known since the beginning of humans in the world and has been practiced for centuries by traditional birth attendants. Babies quickly become hungry or want to eat because their digestion becomes smoother. Mother's milk (ASI) is the main nutritional intake for babies, especially babies 0-3 months.

Breast milk is produced as a result of the combined work of the hormones Oxytocin, Prolactin and the Let Down Reflex. So maternal psychological factors and baby factors are closely related to breast milk production. This research is an analytical research with the type of research used, namely Quasy experimental (quasi-experiment) which seeks to reveal the causal relationship between the independent variable (predictor) and the dependent variable (effect) within a certain time period. The population in this study were all babies 0-3 months at Nurul Hasanah Hospital. Sampling was taken using Purposive Sampling technique.

The research results showed that there was an influence between baby massage and the frequency of breastfeeding in babies with a P value (0.000) and there was an influence between baby massage and the duration of breastfeeding in babies (P value 0.000). The World Health Organization (World Health Organization) in 2005 stated that the under-five mortality rate in the world was 42%, while in Indonesia the infant mortality rate was 34/1000 live births, the under-five mortality rate was 44/1000 live births (Indonesian Ministry of Health in Fatimah, 2017 ). Infant mortality is death that occurs when a baby is born until the baby is not exactly one year old. Many factors are associated with infant mortality. Broadly speaking, in terms of causes of infant death, there are two types, namely endogenous and exogenous. Endogenous infant death or what is commonly called neonatal death is infant death that occurs in the first month after birth and is generally caused by factors introduced during pregnancy. Exogenous infant death or post-neonatal death is infant death that occurs after the age of one month until approaching the age of one which is caused by factors related to the influence of the external environment. The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is one of the main indicators of a country's health status. IMR also indicates the ability and quality of health services, capacity of health services, quality of education and community knowledge, quality of environmental health, socio-culture and barriers to gaining access to health services. The most common cause of death in infants and toddlers is due to lack of nutrition, namely 58% (WHO in Fatimah, 2017). Breastfeeding is not optimal in treating 45% of deaths due to neonatal infectious diseases, 30% of deaths due to diarrhea and 18% of deaths due to acute respiratory problems in toddlers. As part of the structure of the District/City Health Service, Puskesmas has responsibility for managing health development in its area. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), around 4.25 million deaths are caused by Acute Respiratory Infections (ISPA) every year throughout the world. In Indonesia, ISPA is consistently the main cause of death in infants and toddlers. ISPA data at the durian shop health center based on the total number of patients visiting from January-December 2023 reached 1928 and from the results of observations ISPA occurred due to air pollution, one of which was due to the presence of factories. ISPA can be transmitted through direct contact or droplets that are spread in the air when coughing or sneezing, and can infect other people through the eyes, mouth and nose. To reduce the incidence of ISPA at the Kedai Durian Community Health Center, the role of nurses is very important, one of which is carrying out several steps during field practice including preparing an Outreach Event Unit (SAP), making leaflets about ISPA, as well as presentations that educate the public about the definition of ISPA, causes, symptoms, risk factors. , prevention, and complications that may arise. These steps aim to increase public understanding of ISPA and encourage the adoption of effective prevention practices.
Noferia Gulo, Lisdayanti Simanjuntak, Indra Agussamad, Rosmega, Petra Dian Sari Zega, Sanni Sihombing Copyright (c) 2024 Mitra Husada Health Internasional Conference (MIHHICo) https://prosidingmhm.mitrahusada.ac.id/index.php/mihhico/article/view/337 Tue, 30 Jul 2024 00:00:00 +0000 THE RELATIONSHIP OF KNOWLEDGE OF WOMEN OF FERTILIZING AGE (WUS) AND THE USE OF IUD CONTRACEPTION IN THE SIBANGGOR PUSKESMAS KEC.
